Optimizing your potentials

I think it is not too late for me to wish Happy Teachers day to all my beloved teacher out there and also to all the lecturers, especially my Biological teacher, Cikgu Mariam Faridah, Cikgu Salina Aksah, Cikgu Latifah, Sir Hakim, Sir Hamdany, Cikgu Taufiq, Cikgu Fauzi,Cikgu Roslina, Cikgu Saidah, Ustazah Rohaya, Ustazah Norlia, Cikgu Mad Yusuf, Cikgu Salahuddin, Ustazah Norhayati and all my teachers which their name not mention here.

Hehe..This is the first time I post an article here using English. I think it is good for me to practise writing as I have left my English writing since my foundation time. It is true that I learn engineering subject in English, but it is all about calculation and fact. You can see how simple and 'broken' my English right now. Hmm...Hope by this blog I can Improve back my language. That why I start blogging. Through blogging I can deliver my Idea toward my prefered issue and also enhance my skill in writing both in Bahasa and English. I feel very ashamed to study in a university so-called world class university where students come from various country gether here but when somebody want to communicate with me in english I can only use my broken English.

Maybe people do not no my ambition. hehe...I'm very proud to say here that I want to be a lecturer, a motivator and a book writer. It mean that I have to start to do something from now and afterward. I need to improve my English. To become Utp lecturer I have to master in English and engineering related subject. Utp education system use English as it instruction language. Lecturer here need to deliver his/her speech in English although they are an Arabic lecturer. A writer should have versalilities in writing. If the writer just use one type of writing, the reader will be uninspiring. Finally, a motivator should have a lot of knowledge to attaract his/her audience.Through blogging, I need a lot of knowledge in writing to comment on my prefered issue. Besides, I have to improve my writing skill and increase my vocubalary. It means, by blogging, I can generate all of these skills.

As we are already know, our brain consists of the right and left brain. The left brain is an analitical brain which people use to evaluate fact and calculation like the engineer. Our right brain more on creative side like imagination, language and so on. We need to utilize both side of our brain. A succes people is one who can manipulate all the potential that he or she have. I realize that our education system right now is more on the useage of the left brain. In our secondary education, we learn Geography, History, science, and Math. All are about calculation and fact. The question is how we can use both our brain in learning these topics. To use your both brain, you can learn that topic by thinking between the line. For example, we learn about the imperilization era in Tanah Melayu since 1517 by Portugese, to make your right brain work, we can think like,'What happen if we are still beeing colonised right now?' or 'Is the condition(economic manipulation and so on) that we have in our country right now are the same with the late colonized era?' Such question can make us to use our imagination that involve our right brain. We will learn these topic in good manner and not just remembering the fact.

I still remember my Bahasa Melayu teacher, Pn Salina Aksah said to me ,"Syaharuddin, from my observation, you are more dominant in your left brain side."(translated). At that time we are discussing about human potential in Tingkatan 2 Al Ahzan class. I feel like on the top of the world at that moment as I think it is very good for me to be dominant in the left brain. It mean that I'm different with the Art stream student who their life is full with the flowery word. However, after reading,reading and reading, finally I realize that to be a well-rounded person, I have to utilize both my brain. You can know which part of brain you are dominant by looking which hand you familiar in writing. If you are righthanded, it mean your left brain is dominant. There is a research saying that Albert Einstein, the people who create the energy equation,E=mc2, just use only 11 percent of his brain!.

As I said before, one of the way we can optimize our brain function is by blogging. I am very proud that my blog has inspired some of my friends to start blogging. It is very good step for them. Blogging sometime can make you fill your time wisely. It is better for you to post articles in your blog compared to waste your time doing things which is not beneficial to yourselve. So my friend, let start blogging!
